Our specialist Trades & Labour team are seeking a General Multi-Skilled Operative for
work in and around the Dorset area.
The role:
The operative will be responsible for undertaking a wide variety of practical tasks to
carry out all the requirements that are involved in a variety of structural repair processes.
For example, breaking and cutting out concrete, finishing concrete to required standard,
painting, applying specialist coatings, constructing timber shuttering, brickwork repair and
all other aspects of masonry works.
The operative will be responsible for health, safety and wellbeing of self and others
whilst on site. Ensure compliance with all practices, procedures and controls relevant
to health, safety and wellbeing in accordance with legislation and company policy.
The operative needs to keep their work area tidy at all times and will be responsible
for looking after all tools and equipment on site.
Requirements:
– Hold a valid CSCS Card.
– Must be experienced in concrete, preferably concrete repair systems and/or
groundworks, brickwork/trowel hand.
– Hold a current valid driving licence. A van will be provided for the right candidate.
– Be hard working, reliable and punctual.
– Have good communication skills and be able to work alone or as part of a team and
use their own initiative.
Details:
Rates to be discussed dependent on experience and qualifications held.
