Southern Concrete Services have previously completed works on Farnborough Abbey and were once again called back by the in-house Facilities manager to assist with a flooding issue the building was suffering from.
Old and failing downpipes and drainage were causing rainwater, which cascades down the Abbey’s vast roof expanse, to flood the surrounding local area.
Following surveys and investigation work, our team worked closely with the facilities manager to devise a new drainage and waterproofing system for the historic building.
We then commenced and completed all the works required, approaching each task with a sympathetic and considered manner, due to the building’s listed status and the majority of the site works taking place within the Abbey’s graveyard.
